The use of statistical analysis in the game of lacrosse is still very much in its infancy. Major League Lacrosse (MLL) franchises have been working to develop systems to quantify both team and player contributions for in-game tactics, opposition analysis, player development and recruitment, and draft analysis. Throughout this presentation, we hope to illustrate advancements in modeling and visualization presently used by organizations for analyzing data to promote a competitive advantage and to drive objective data-driven decision making in the game of professional field lacrosse.
