From fantasy sports to fan experience, recruiting tools to injury tracking, technology in the sports arena is creating wide-ranging opportunities while collecting copious amounts of personal data. Collection of data about individuals, while beneficial to both the individual and a team or business, comes with inherent risks ranging from regulatory fines to costly data breaches. Brad’s presentation will help you evaluate the scope your data privacy risks as well as plan for unforeseen incidents and breaches.  In addition, with the sweeping and far-reaching new privacy law “going live” in the EU in May of 2018, Brad will provide information on the scope of that new law and other global changes in privacy law that could impact your plans to utilize personal data.
