Ed Edmonds
University of Notre Dame Professor Emeritus of Law
Ed Edmonds is Professor Emeritus of Law at the Notre Dame Law School. Professor Edmonds served as a law library director for 35 years at four institutions: Notre Dame, St. Thomas (MN), Loyola New Orleans, and William & Mary. For the past 30 years he has taught sports law and legal research. During his career, he also taught entertainment law, antitrust law, and criminal law. He is the co-author with Frank Houdek of Baseball Meets the Law, a 2017 publication from McFarland. He has published articles on antitrust and labor issues in baseball with a particular interest in baseball salary arbitration.
